Final Thanksgiving Prayer Rally is on the 5 th December at Galvendale Community Hall, PE. Time: 6pm. to 9pm. Lots of worship and singing of Christmas Carols. Please remember to bring non perishable food items. As we as a station would like to give groceries hampers to underprivileged families

PEFM 87.6 presenters had the privilege of visiting the Gelvan Park Frail Care Centre yesterday to share and give cheer to our communities elderly.
The procession was opened in prayer by drive time show radio presenter Romano Pecensie. Toni Williams, presenter of the Midday Saturday show between 12:30-3pm gave a short Christmas word and Adore’ Morgan, presenter of the Saturday brunch show led the procession in a well known Christmas carol; silent knight, with the elderly singing along.
PEFM 87.6 handed out the non-perishable food items to the frail care centre that was collected at our final Prayer Rally for 2018 that was held at the Gelvandale Community Centre on Wednesday 5th December 2018.
What a joyous time we had lending a hand and a heart to our communities elderly that are often neglected.
Megan, from the frail care centre who assisted in the planning of this meetup, thanked PEFM 87.6 by sharing that, “We rely so much on donations to feed our people and my heart is very glad today for this donation because it helps us so much in the long run. It ensures that our residents here get fed a well healthy meal.”
We had the opportunity to engage in the elderly residents’ stories and share a moment that they and we as a radio station will cherish through the Christmas period.
We would like to thank every PEFM 87.6 listener who assisted in donating non-perishable food items so that we as a family could make another’s Christmas time special. PEFM 87.6, your community radio station, our family. Wishing you all a blessed Christmas!
