What a joyous time we had lending a hand and a heart to our communities elderly that are often neglected.
Megan, from the frail care centre who assisted in the planning of this meetup, thanked PEFM 87.6 by sharing that, “We rely so much on donations to feed our people and my heart is very glad today for this donation because it helps us so much in the long run. It ensures that our residents here get fed a well healthy meal.”
We had the opportunity to engage in the elderly residents’ stories and share a moment that they and we as a radio station will cherish through the Christmas period.
We would like to thank every PEFM 87.6 listener who assisted in donating non-perishable food items so that we as a family could make another’s Christmas time special. PEFM 87.6, your community radio station, our family. Wishing you all a blessed Christmas!
